Back pain: Persistent or recurrent pain after back surgery can be managed several ways. Physical therapy and cortisone shots may be the first step. Repeat MRI studies may show new structural problems as cause of the pain. there may be previously unrecognized pain generator such as the sacroiliac joints. A trial of spinal cord stimulation is also a reasonable option. Discuss with a spine specialist.

Number of them: Once you have recovered and cleared for exercise, make sure you do core strengthening and exercises like leg lifts and knee tucks (witch hazel) which will help mobilize the nerve roots and avoid adhesions/scarring around the dura.

Should be fine: Of course with a laminectomy they're removing a portion of the vertebrae. However there still stability and since no fusion was required you should be fine.

It could be facet: Pain, but often during laminectomies they obliterate the medial branch that feeds the facet, so it is not the only possibility and other things, like post-laminectomy syndrome, should be considered. A diagnostic block of the medial branch can be an easy way to find out if those small nerves are causing the pain or not. Pt should still be in the discussion as well.
