Water: Drink a lot of water and suck on hard candies. This will thin the saliva and increase salivation which should allow the glands to decrease in size. Sometimes in sjogren's the enlargement is permanent.

Unlikely...: The literature does not describe any association with parotid or salivary duct issues with bruxism(rubbing of teeth). People with this type of problem may experience jaw pain, temporomandibular joint pain, slight enlargement of facial muscle(masseter), erosion of teeth, among others. If you feel he has some salivary gland issues make sure he sees an ENT specialist for exam and diagnosis.

See ENT: Bilateral parotid enlargement could be from diabetes, liver disease, cirrhosis, hiv, anorexia, bulimia, protein calorie malnutrition, fatty infiltration, or autoimmune disease.  An enlarged thyroid could be from autoimmune thyroid inflammation.  Warthins tumors can be bilateral.  Need to have this evaluated.

See below: If you had reported bilaterally enlargement of parotid glands, i would say possibly.  ANA can be positive or negative with sjogren's.  Your current thyroid symptoms are not consistent with sjogren's.
