Possible lymphoma: The presence of lymph nodes that can be palpated in axilla would lead to evaluation  of other sites as seen on CAT scan.  This procedure must have been ordered to see if other nodal areas were involved as in retroperitoneum.  Since there are many causes of multiple areas of enlarged nodes, dx must be determined by bx.  Aspiration of no value since architecture of nodes required for proper dx.

Yes,: lymph nodes are normal structures.  If they are normal in shape and size, there is generally nothing to worry about.

These lymph nodes: may not mean anything, unless there is a readily diagnosed condition that will explain their existence, such as acute infection or tumor.  Lymph nodes can pop in and out, without rhyme or reason.  The existence of CHRONICALLY enlarging lymph nodes would be a red flag.  Periodic followup CTs at intervals of 3 or 6 months would be recommended here.

Unsure: Ct is not the best way to image the female pelvis.  This could be normal for you or there may be something abnormal.  I would recommend a pelvic ultrasound and physical exam to make sure everything is okay.

abd/pelvis ct today. why is my dr not concerned about mild splenomegaly, or several mildly enlarged lymph nodes. had test for fever unknown origin.

Nodes not signif.: One has to  know why the scan was done.  Were there nodes in external chains that needed clarification.  When nodes continue to enlarge in face of mild splenomegaly then superficial node that is most enlarged should be biopsied.  Low grade chronic lymphoma can persist in a vegetative state for a long period and firm if not very enlarged might still be an indication for bx.

i have had swollen glands in my neck and pelvic area since march and im not sure if its a cause for concern. the lymph nodes arent very big.

Watch and wait: If you do not have any symptoms you may watch and wait. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

Biopsy: Generalized lymphadenopathy needs to get quick attention , there are several causes and lymphoma is one possible cause , only examination and texture is not adequate to make diagnosis. Need biopsy and pathology exam to make diagnosis . Need to see doc quickly.

Yes and no...: Neck lymph nodes may become enlarged with tumors of the head and neck, such as squamous cell carcinoma of the throat. &amp;#40;Smokers are prone to this problem.&amp;#41; This is because the lymphatic channels in the neck will filter through neck nodes before draining into a larger vessel in the chest.  In contrast, lymphoma is a tumor of lymph nodes themselves, and can cause enlargement of any node.

Tuberculosis: If this is TB it sounds like it would be extrapulmonary TB (outside the lung), in which case, if you are not coughing, it is not communicable to others. Good luck and get better soon.

need to be seen: You need to have evalaution. It can be reactive, allergy, infection, immune mediated, sarcoidosis, lymphoma, lung cancer and needs more attendtiona nd work up. Ask for referral to medical oncologist.
