Abd/pelvis ct today. why is my dr not concerned about mild splenomegaly, or several mildly enlarged lymph nodes. had test for fever unknown origin.

Nodes not signif.: One has to know why the scan was done. Were there nodes in external chains that needed clarification. When nodes continue to enlarge in face of mild splenomegaly then superficial node that is most enlarged should be biopsied. Low grade chronic lymphoma can persist in a vegetative state for a long period and firm if not very enlarged might still be an indication for bx.
