It is not Specific: Antral gastritis is a non-specific diagnosis; it may be caused by H. pylori, NSAIDs, acid sensitivity, bile reflux; further, there is no certainty that your symptoms are caused by the gastritis; gastritis is often asymptomatic; you could have non-ulcer dyspepsia;

undergone endoscopy  diagonsed with fundal and antral gastritis. i was earlier prescribed pantaprazole and itopride hcl for 2 months. no relief.

Depends main symptom: while gastritis can cause symptoms, would need to see if this is the main cause of YOUR symptoms, while considering many causes both of the stomach inflammation (e.g. rule out helicobacter infection, medications such as aspirin/ibuprofen, and even parasites if living in endemic areas, etc) as well as co-existing problems (gallstones, pancreatitis, etc) elsewhere. Yes: A small intestine biopsy, done by upper endoscopy going down through the mouth, can reveal a diagnosis of celiac disease, especially if the patient has symptoms and blood test results suggesting celiac disease.

The  Word On GERD: It means you're all inflamed down there and some of it is leaking back up and affecting your esophagus. It also hopefully means other tests are pending(blood and stool tests for any stomach infection, blood test for anemia,etc) and information regarding what to do about your problem("Gastroesophageal Disease," or GERD). Until then,diet modifcation  and use of antacids is inorder and,not lying flat

Poss Food allergy : If continued pain and or bloating after eating but not associated with any evidence of ulcer disease, may wish to consider food allergy testing

Patience: It is worse if any of us says anything we know nothing about, it will only give your more anxiety. You are young and cancer is less likely, should alleviate your anxiety. Just wait and discuss with your doctor.

Biopsies: biopsies are routinely done during endoscopic procedures for many reasons. Unless your doctor specifically told you that he saw something worrisome, I would not worry about it until he calls you back with the results. Good luck.

: That depends on the intensity of your GERD. If you can avoid reclining after meals for at least 2 hours, avoid all caffeine or nicotine and aggravating foods, your GERD may improve without. If you have tried behavioral change and meds with no success the fundoplication surgery is a way to provide vast improvement.

Need more informatio: First, stop drinking alcohol. Next, need to know what the biopsy showed. In the us most all ulcers are benign, especially at age 35. I do not know the incidence of gastric cancer in india though. Ask your doctor as to what the biopsy showed ; get medical treatment for the ulcer ; gastritis. May need repeat endoscopy to confirm healing later.

Reflux: You may be getting acid in your esophagus during the night while laying in bed. You should try elevating the head of your bed (not extra pillows, that just bends your neck)
most stores sell blocks specifically for this purpose. Put one under each of the legs of just the head of your bed (total of two).
