Hello. : Hello. I can't say what treatment would be best for you. In additional to surgery, other options include birth control via patch, pill or ring. This can help to decrease the amount of endometrial tissue and decrease pain.  If you are not allergic to non-steroidal anti- inflammatory medications consider Motrin or a similar medication. There are stronger hormone therapies if the first steps are not sufficient.

my wife had a day surgery for endometriosis treatment today and surgery went well. but during recovery, her heart rate elevated sometimes up to 145. ?

For how long?: If she's having copious bleeding, she should return for another look immediately. That said, pain, which is expected immediately after surgery, causes a rapid HR but it should gradually slow as she becomes more comfortable. If this is the case, rest and pain medication is the way to go. Be sure she's taking liquids well (to replace the lost blood volume). Warm wishes to you both.

Several: Other medications may help such as Norethindrone acetate, aromatase inhibitors, and Lupron (leuprolide) injections. Often times a medicine works for a certain time and then another one is required. Sometimes atypical medicines such as Gabapentin can help pain. Exercise and even acupuncture can be very useful.

No...and yes: There are no natural treatments that eliminate or even reduce endometriosis: surgery and/or Lupron (leuprolide) are the only interventions. Otoh for pain related to endometriosis, many women find heating pads, hot tea, and otc pain medicines can help relieve the crampy feelings.

Many: There are many treatments and some women respond better to different treatments. Birth control pills can be taking in different ways to help with pain. Lupron injections are a very powerful and effective treatment.. Sometimes Progesterone or Norethindrone acetate helps. Acupuncturist can provide relief to some women. A Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud may help as well. Many options exist!

Endometriosis: can only be diagnosed with surgery: if you have not already had a surgery, you have been given a "tentative" or "possible" diagnosis. I often recommend surgery simply to MAKE a diagnosis, though it's acceptable to do a trial of suppression first. Discuss with your doctor or a virtual consult online if you have questions. Decreases fertility: Endometriosis makes it take longer to get pregnant due to it causing scar tissue and to chemicals that the endometriosis implants put out.  Surgery or treatment with depolupron or taking birth control pills constantly can suppress endometriosis and make it easier to get pregnant.  But endometriosis is a chronic condition that will keep coming back until menopause.

No: There are various medical and surgical treatments for endometriosis. Medical treatments include birth control pills, Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) and Depo-Provera lupron. Surgical treatments include laparoscopy to remove endometriosis and scar tissue. Hysterectomy may be done when other treatments have failed.
