? Definition: Non surgical treatments for endometriosis do not cure or treat the disease other than to temporarily suppress function of endometriotic tissue. Studies have confirmed progression of the disease despite suppression. If pain relief is the only goal and fertility is not an issue these treatments may be effective. Otherwise surgery is the only way to cure and stop the detriment to fertility of endo.
