Don't recommend it: I recommend a "sprague-rapport" (two-tube style) stethescope for field use--it is extremely inexpensive and incredibly durable. Any littmann will be comparatively crazy-expensive, more delicate, very likely to get stolen, and not provide dramatically different auscultative quality in the field.

Why?: I am not aware of any medical indication that would warrant internal use of Epsom salts on a regular basis.  Some medical conditions do improve with increased electrolyte intake, but these are uncommon and require medical evaluation and diagnosis.  A safe way to keep vitamins, minerals and electolytes balanced is by eating a varied clean diet and taking whole food multivitamins.

Unfortunately,: it's a personality trait...somewhat inherent but also a learned response. Anger is typically an attempt to control the actions of others to get our own needs and wants met by them. It is the result of frustration when you do not get what you want from others. Underlying this anger is fear that you are not in control. Some form is therapy to reduce this intense need to control is needed.

EMS: Not sure what particular questions you may have.  If you are interested in the career, you could call up your local EMS service (using the non-emergency number of course) and see if you could participate in a 'ride along' program.  The 'ride along' experience would offer you plenty of time to get answers to all of your EMS career questions.
