Different ingredient: Perhaps you use different amounts of the same ingredients, or different ingredients. Could be differences in preparation, other factors such as appetizers, wine, etc.

i am experiencing sharp pain in my stomach area after eating pasta really fast due to a time limit. will i be able to digest fully even though i did not chew thoroughly and is there permanant damage to my stomach ?

Rapid eating: It would be very doubtful that rapidly ingesting pasta would cause permanent damage to your GI tract.  The food is likely to be digested. However, we don't always pass fully digested food.  Recommend eating slowly and chewing well in the future.  Sometimes when eating rapidly - we don't have time to feel satieted and may end up gorging. This can cause distention &amp; discomfort. Take care.

See a doctor: If this happens every time you may have a intestinal problem such as IBS or Celiac Sprue. You need to see a doctor for a thorough workup.

well i ate at 8pm stomach didn't start hurting until about 2 am then i threw up an hour later. i had pasta and ground turkey with some pasta sauce. after i threw up i felt better than i drank some water and my stomach began hurting again only threw up onc

Intolerance: There are a lot of adverse reactions to foods, and true food allergy is only one of them. Even when true food allergy is the culprit, blood testing is not always very accurate. The best diagnosis is made by exactly what you have done - keep track of your reactions to figure out which foods cause them. Then there is nothing else you can do but avoid them - there is no treatment that will help.

What's on the pasta?: It may not be the rice pasta that is bothering you!  what's on top of or mixed with the pasta?  To be sure, you could try eating rice pasta alone ; see how you feel.  The next day try eating wheat pasta alone.  If neither one bothers, it is not the pasta, but the toppings.  Most of the time, severe pain after eating can be related to the gallbladder, or gastric/duodenal ulcers.  See md ; good luck.

why is it that after i eat pasta or spaghetti i feel bloated in my stomach. lots of gas inside and it comes out loud from the anus. very embarrassing ?

Hard to say: many things cause bloating and gas.  Could be just a heavy meal that slows your intestine and makes you feel full,  could be something in the meal that you have a sensitivity to.  Could be that there is a lot of fiber which may result in increased gas (actually good for you).  Gallbladder problems could even give you gas but usually you would have pain too

Could be food: sensitivity or another GI disorder.  Please see your doc.  Great Plains Laboratory in KS has a good food sensitivity panel.  Conventional lab work can be less sensitive.  It may be a sensitivity rather than full blown celiac disease.  Peace and good health.

Peptic ulcer disease: you most likely have peptic ulcer. Try OTC prilosec. Also see a gastroenterologist. If not a peptic ulcer and you still have symptoms, get you gall bladder checked for chronic cholecystitis
