No: Chronic ear infections are usually due to blocked eustachian tubes.  There is no connection between the two.

Confusing setting: It is odd that you had an ear infection so soon after extraction, but possible. The areas are physically separate &amp; do not communicate, so there is no reason the ear issue would contaminate the sockets. One question I have if whether you have an ear infection at all. The nerves in that part of the head can give you acute or persistent ear pain from irritation in the jaw.

Wisdom teeth and ear: There can be a concern if the wisdom teeth are partially erupted  and increased potential infections.  This could affect the eustacian tubes located in the throat, coming from the inner ear. Usually, infected wisdom teeth, when they cause problems, are felt more by the tmj, about 1/2 inch in front of the ear. Best to check with dentist and md to see if there is infection and how to treat it.

Dry socket: There is no relationship between an ear infection and a getting a dry socket following a tooth extraction. Infections in the ear do not spread to your mouth. You should be fine from a dental standpoint.

i had an tooth infection after wisdom teeth removal. since then i brushed my teeth every time i ate something.. probably 5-8times a day for a month.my teeth feel sensitive now. i also use salt water to rinse. did i damage the enamel permanently?

: You have been overdoing it, so back off.  You need to brush and floss well at least once in a 24 hr period preferably before retiring at night. Doi not brush immediately after meals it will harm your teeth. Dry socket: The only way to tell for sure is to have the extraction site examined.
See your dentist or oral surgeon for an examination.

Pain: Tylenol (acetaminophen) or motrin, if you don't feel better, it's prudent to see a doctor

See your doctor. : This is not normal, you should see the doctor or oral surgeon who removed the wisdom teeth immediately to diagnose the problem.

Slight: Not impossible, but not common. You may have trapped a foreign body in the socket (stitch, food debris,etc) and it is just now becoming a problem. More commonly, patients see a small often sharp piece coming through the tissue. This is a small fragment of loose bone, working its way out. No problem, no infection. It can be removed or come out on its own. See your DDS if needed. Good Luck.
