There can be false positive results on TLC but most labs then follow with GCMS which tests for very specific molecules.  If GCMS is positive, then somehow the drug got in your body.

Colposcopy is best: It sounds like what you have is what we call cin.  Frequently , these changes have to do with exposure to hpv. You could wait and repeat your pap in 3-6 months or just go ahead and schedule an appointment or a colposcopy.

No: I would not recommend it.  After surgery you have a higher likelihood for a blood clot.  Traveling, especially air travel increases that risk because you are not moving at all for prolonged periods.  Also, because most travel is in a seated position, your leg will swell.
