Widened Dural sac: The covering around the spinal cord consist of several layers one of which is called the Dura. When this covering or sad about the spinal cord is widened in certain areas where it normally is not then the result may be herniation of nerve roots. There are several associations of congenital syndromes such as Marfan's and neurofibromatosis which can be seen with this type of presentation.

Not necessarily: Dural ectasia is one of the major ghent criteria for the diagnosis; present in around 60 percent of mfs patients. You stay away from certain activities (lifting heavy weights, etc) if your dr advice; those might make it worse. But please check www.Marfan.Org, and remember stanford and mayo clinic, among other centers, have dedicated departments and lots of research going on. Don t get discouraged!

Back pain / ectasia: A condition like dural ectasia can be very troublesome.  Besides pain medication, people with this condition may respond to physical therapy, surgery, stimulator therapy or muscle relaxant treatment.

Recruiting a physiatrist or PMR doctor and a neurosurgeon to your team would be helpful.

Corneal thickness: Ectasia is not common unless the cornea is  thin. Ask your lasik surgeon if your corneal thickness is normal after lasik. If so, and you don't  rub your eyes, the risk is low. Eye rubbing may increase the risk of ectasia.

Ectasia: This refers to a benign dilatation of a part of the kidney collection tubes which drains urine into the ureter leading to the bladder. As long as the urine flow is not impeded, no issues like stone formation or infection should occur. Your study showed only mild dilatation.

GERD: GERD is usually due to a weakening of the lower esophageal sphincter and reflux of acidic contents from the stomach into the esophagus. Unsure how they do it in saudi arabia, but dilation is not the answer.

Abd pain: You might have a  gallstone blocking the common bile duct or have passed on already. You might need to see a gastroenterologist for an ERCP especially if unable to tolerate food. The level of the. Liver function tests and lipase/amylase would help in the diagnosis also.

Depends: At your age, &amp; depending on your eye health, a dilated exam every 3 years is probably sufficient. For myopia yearly exams usually are desirable to check on prescription changes. My strong preference is for dilated exams with hi-powered diagnostic indirect lenses to evaluate the posterior part of your eyes. Digital retinal imaging exams (Retincam™) work for big pathologies, but not micro-detailed
