help, i've only itch on upper+lower lid skin where lashes grow(mostly near eyecorner)+in eyecorner, feel dryeye. eyemd said allergy conjunc.tried 10meds?

Eye Lid Dermatitis: You have to stop all makeup until the skin heals. Use a cortisone cream like prescription Locoid (hydrocortisone butyrate) lotion. Then add each component of makeup for 4 days before you go onto the next. This way you may be able to find out what is causing the reaction.

Part of treatment: Mgd is treated by a combination of things.  Lid cleansing and hygiene is important.  Warm soaks are helpful.  The use of antibiotics like Erythromycin and tetracycline are helpful adjuncts.  Have your ophthalmologist go over this with you as you have to see him to get the prescription anyway.

Allergy...maybe: This might not be allergy...Sounds like blepharitis..An inflammation of the eylid margins due to bacteria and their toxins...Treat with lid scrubs, warm compresses, and topical antibiotic.

Artificial tears: This is a very broad question. 
Start with articial tears, you may need plugs. See your eyecare physician. You need to be placed on prescription drops such as Restasis or even topical corticosteroids. 
Check your medication lists for dry eye and mouth side effects. This can become a chronic problem and require long term care. May need to change your dietary habits and improve your hydration

Yes: Dry eyes can cause your vision to be blurry and not correct with glasses or contacts.  Using re-wetting drops can be helpful as well as having plugs inserted, but i would recommend seeing your opthomologist for a check-up as there may also be another cause for your vision changes.

It is true: Eye dryness can occur from tear deficiency, wetting agent deficiency in tears,  changes in the oil composition, inflammation of the eyes or lids, and following certain types of trauma or surgery.  The character is different for each and there are variations in treatment for each.  Check with an ophthalmologist if you think you have this problem.

Varies: Could be allergens or other irritants that inflame the surface of the eye causing symptoms similar to chronic dry eye.  If its only brief then not likely anything of concern.  You can use over-the-counter artificial tears for short term problems.  If it becomes chronic then see an eye doctor.

Corneal damage: It can cause corneal erosions and damage. It can also be a sign of Sjogren`s syndrome, an  immunologic disorder. Your Ophalmologist will have good treatment.
