Eyebrow dry skin: Dry skin around your eyebrows can be treated with exfoliation, followed by lotion.  If persistent, anti-dandruff shampoo can be used and if inflamed, topical Hydrocortisone cream can be used.

See a Dermatologist: Lesions and eyes and around mouth can be due to compulsive and excessive use of soap or cleaning the face, eczematous dermatitis, and occasionally infectious dermatitis.   
If only contact dermatitis or eczema can be treated with anti-inflammatory creams but if you have papules or pustules with it may need anti-biotic.  Must see a dermatologist.

Seborrheic dermatitis: That red, itchy rash on your scalp that has flaky scales could be seborrheic dermatitis, or seborrhea. It's a common skin disease that looks similar to psoriasis, eczema, or an allergic reaction. And it can appear on your body as well as your scalp

i have very dry skin around my nose & between my eyebrows it burns when i put moisturizer on  it doesn't happen all the time what should i do about it?

Seborrheic dermatiti: Possibly seborrheic dermatitis. A dermatologist will help you. Meanwhile you can begin with an azole cream daily.       Ketoconazole, clotrimazole, miconazole are OTC @ about $5. OTC hydrocortisone can be added for short periods. Prescription calcineurin inhibitor tacrolimus ointment is often effective. Prescription oral azol once a month is very effective. You can wash face with dandruff shampoo.

Try vaseline: Stop using neosporin. Try just simple vaseline or aquaphor.  Might need a steroid cream - see primary care physician or dermatologist for recommendation.

Seb derm: Seborrheic dermatitis (seb derm) is a chronic intermittent rash typically affecting the face, ears, scalp, &amp; trunk.
This condition is believed to result from overactive sebaceous glands (seborrhea) &amp; inflammation. The mainstay of treatment includes topical anti-fungal agents alone or in combination with topical steroids. Recommend that you see a dermatologist to get it under control.

dandruff and dry skin i have patches of dry itchy skin on my scalp and hair-line. i also have a few patches of red itchy skin near my eyes and eyebrows. any idea what would be the cause of this and any solutions would be great too.

The areas you describe would fit a diagnosis of seborrheic dermatitis, which usually involves redness and flaking of the skin at the scalp, near eyebrows, around the nose, or in other parts of the body.  This could also be eczema or possibly psoriasis, which are diseases of the skin caused by inflammation.  I would recommend a visit to your doctor - it would likely only take a quick look to tell the difference and to prescribe the appropriate treatment.  While these are some likely reasons, for skin problems, the only way to know for sure is to see the rash.

i meet all the symptoms for hypothyroidism: sparse eyebrows, fatigue, dry skin, i have ibs, cmp tsh w/reflex to ft4 is 4.44, yet dr said i don't. do i?

Hypothyroidism: Hi, you may have subclinical hypothyroidism, and/ or hashimoto's thyroiditis. You may need to have further testing done, thyroid auto-antibodies, anti-per -oxidase antibodies lab tests and perhaps a thyroid sonar.  It may be a good idea to see an endocrinologist, literature shows that thyroid hormone replacement may benefit you. Good luck!

Normal variation: Cradle cap occurs when normal aging skin cells fail to shead from the scalp in infants.Moms typicly use mild shampoos to avoid eye irritation but these shampoos do not have the chemicals needed to break up skin oils.Some infants have thicker skin oil which acts like glue &amp; prevents skin cells  from separating.Dandruf shampoos+soft cuticle brushes used regularly will solve this problem.

Seborrheic Eczema: If you also have dandruff, it is possible that have seborrheic eczema which is a more inflammatory form.  Daily use of an anti-dandruff shampoo (head and shoulders) will help to reduce the dry skin.
