Candida: The antecubital and popliteal fossae  in young chubby babies are areas where they can get a candidal yeast infection due to humidity and wetness. You can use nystatin topically three times a day for 4 weeks.  Also important to keep the area dry, consider using vaseline to keep the area from getting wet.

hello, i had an corrective sugery/operation on my left foot as an infant. apparently i am told ot went well and felt well while growing up, now as a 39 year old, my left leg from below the knee is getting smaller. what could be the cause?

Likely unrelated: The bony structure of your leg will remain stable after puberty. It is unlikely anything to do with the problem as an infant. If your leg is withering it is likely muscular in origin although the nerves may also be involved. I would have a checkup done with your doc who can either sort this out or send you to someone who can.

Good idea: Whether to prevent your spreading it to the babies or to discover if you caught it from work and need to advice the facility - yes. See a doc for exam and/or lab work. Also, if it is painful - relief will be nice. Best wishes for it being a minor easy to correct issue.

dr, i'm worried. i just read that hair dryer has an important emf radiation, i use it often to dry my son's hair very close to my belly, and also put it on my knees. i'm 30 weeks pregnant and i'm afraid that my baby got brain injuries?

: I have never heard about this adverse effect of hair dryer.
Your baby is well protective by many physical layers, you should not worry too much.

Psoriasis: You probably have a mild case of psoriasis. Try Hydrocortisone cream, which is probably not strong enough, but is available without a prescription. If that doesn't work, see a dermatologist.

Nerve endings: That sensation probably represents irritability in the superficial nerves of the leg. Since there are no other neurological symptoms,it probably isn't a serious problem but it would be worthwhile to check for vitamin B 12 deficiency if symptoms persist. A neurologist could advise you further as needed.

Atopic dermatitis: This could be atopic dermatitis (a.D.)  a.D starts in infancy and many kids outgrow it. It is described as the itch that rashes. The rash can be on the face, arms and legs   the main treatments are aimed at controlling the dryness. Bathe your baby with a mild, non-drying soap (dove) in lukewarm water.  Use moisturizers frequently.  Your pediatrician may prescribe a steroid cream for the rash.
