Rashes: Rashes are impossible to diagnose over the computer so I am afraid you will need to see the Dr or a health care provider for an exam. The eyelids especially needs special care with rashes as the skin is thin and traditional steroid creams may not be recommended.  Best wishes.

can i use hydrocortisone cream for dermatitis on the eyelid if the skin is cracked open or oozing?

Accepted Answer

Be careful: Hydrocortisone should be used carefully by the eye. It should not get into the eye because it can cause cataracts.  Use the least amount possible in that area.  Keep in mind that steroid creams have side effects: thinning of the skin, changes in the color of the skin.

i have been feeling stress, yesterday my neck was tense i cracked it. couple hours later i have red spot in the white area of eye. what is it?

Red spot in eye: Sometimes a blood vessel in white part of eye beaks & makes a red spot (hemorrhage) that looks bad but usually isn't. Most resolve without tx. If pain accompanied the spot, see dr/eye specialist.

Cold compress: You should apply cold compresses for 10 minutes if not better after 2 days, go see an ophthalmologist.

: It appears the tooth is fractured, or you have a restoration that has a carious lesion underneath it. This will not resolve by itself, it will only get worse over time. Please see a local dentist to determine exactly what the issue is and if the tooth is restorable or hopeless.

: If a silver filling is present on molar, a galvanic shock is possible if a fork or spoon touches the tooth. A sharp edge on tooth could cause the pain on tongue. See a specialist for consultation, tooth may have to be removed. Don't treat yourself with meds not prescribed by your doctor.

Lotions: Generally, liberal use of most over the counter lotions will help heal dry, cracked heels. Putting lotion on before bedtime and covering with socks may help as well.
