Can i use hydrocortisone cream for dermatitis on the eyelid if the skin is cracked open or oozing?

Be careful: Hydrocortisone should be used carefully by the eye. It should not get into the eye because it can cause cataracts. Use the least amount possible in that area. Keep in mind that steroid creams have side effects: thinning of the skin, changes in the color of the skin.
