Cold compress: You should apply cold compresses for 10 minutes if not better after 2 days, go see an ophthalmologist.

Drops: You may have dry eyes , allergy or inflammation. You may want to try artificial tears 4-5x per day with cold compressors if it does not go away within 1-2 days then please consult your eye doc. If the eye is very sore and painful please see yor doc asap.
