No: The anti-motion sickness patches are called scopolamine patches and are only available as prescriptions.

Accepted Answer

Since you are: taking Proton Pump inhibitors (eg Prilosec) i assume you have a stomach issue thus many OTC pain medications should be avoided (eg IBUPROFEN, MOTRIN, ALEEVE ) You can use Dramamine with any of these (Dramamine is an anti-histamine) I would suggest TYLENOL (acetaminophen) in the higher strength every 8 hours is your best OTC "bet")

You could, but  . .: . . . both of these can make you a little drowsy, so taking both might make you more sleepy on the plane than you may want--it also depends upon how long your flight is. Obviously, if your flight is only a few hours, it's probably a bad idea to take both--unless you actually DO begin to get sick on the plane. If it is your anxiety that you feel may make you sick, hopefully the Xanax (alprazolam) will prevent

I prefer scop patch: I find that transderm scop (scopolamine) is both well tolerated and effective. Perhaps even better is half a scop patch, but if you do this, carefully wash your hands after cutting / applying to keep the scopolamine off your fingers & out of your eyes. Another prescription favorite is zofran (ondansetron) which is quite effective for nausea.

Suggest U see your -: PCP, as you are known by him/her and you might be taking some meds which maybe responsible;

: Yes, you can take antiemetic med for N/V when using birth control patch. With birth control patch, you use one patch a week for 3 weeks then none on week 4 when the period will come.

Yes: If you have Insulin resistance or even diabetes metformin is fine to take.  Some people have lost weight on metformin, perhaps due to GI side effects.  I haven't heard that it can interfere with diet pills but those can be dangerous on their own.

Yes, a person can: Overdose on dramamine (dimenhydrinate). It is seldom lethal. If you have any thoughts of taking your life - please get help right away. Call a friend or relative and have them transport you to the nearest emergency room or call 911 if you have active thoughts of taking an overdose. Or call the national suicide prevention lifeline at 
1-800-273-8255. Take care.

Go to the ER immeida: the usual dose of beandryl is 25 mg. YOu must go to the ER or posion control immediately . This large dose will put you to sleep and have effects ofn your heart.

:  The Drugs.Com drug interaction checker showed no drug- drug interactions between Dramamine and Melatonin. However, I would not take this medication combination unless you have 8 hours to devote to sleep.
