Asthma is a chronic condition, and with an asthma plan it may be well controlled
 Avoid smoke, allergic triggers such as dust,mold, pet dander and pet hair. Keep your home clean and consider allergy testing. The rainy season is often associated with increased exposure to airborne triggers. A combination of a bronchodilator and an inhaled steroid is often effective. Please see GINA guidelines.

Have a complete tear of left flexor hallucis longus tendon. tear is in front of knot of henry. is surgery best or is something less invasive possible?

It goes without saying that every patient's condition should be evaluated before applying general rules, but, if the laceration is distal (toward the toes)  to the knot of Henry, then surgical repair is probably best. Find an experienced surgeon.

If had swollen glands for about nine weeks. paul bunnell test came back positive, fbc came back normal  is it normal for my glands to still be swollen?

It takes a while to recover from mononucleosis . Glands serve as a immunity organ and during infection are deactivated ("at work").It take a gradual recovery and getting lymphatic nodes back to normal size '  if any doubt , see your physician

Post traumatic stress disorder i have been diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder, 2 times in my life by henry ford hospital.  if i go to a doctor, or therapist i'm sure there will be a third diagnoses.

what can i do to help me move through this.

Although post traumatic stress disorder may resolve completely, it can also become more symptomatic with new traumas.   The three main categories of symptoms are avoidance, reliving and hyperarousal.  Avoidance is a hallmark symptom. You might want to avoid people, places, sounds, smells, events that trigger feelings or memories associated with the traumatic events.  Reliving can take the form of nightmares or during the daytime you may have memories of old traumas, or feel like you are back there again. The most significant form of reliving is called flashbacks.  These are vivid and the person actually believes they are back in their traumatic situation. It can be accompanied by hallucinations.  Hyperarousal means that you may be more reactive. You may have insomnia, be irritable, your heart rate might sore as if you were about to respond to danger when it isn't present. 
   The good news is that ptsd is treatable.  You might wish to see a therapist who is experienced in cognitive behavioral therapy (cbt) or cognitive processing  therapy (cpt).  Sometimes medications are indicated.  Medical acupuncture is also used to treat ptsd.

A few approaches may be helpful.  BOTOX injections can be considered.  Physical therapy does help, on an ongoing basis.  Consult a neurosurgeon if not currently done.  Find a rehab doctor, physiatrist if not yet involved.

Not sure what your question is, but if you have tendonitis at the master knot of henry, plantar fasciitis, sesamoiditis and metatarsalgia all on the same foot you need rest! and a lot of it!

53 year old male has facial and hand twitch tics at the same times when overly excited, its most intense when anticipating intimacy. what are possible causes? i need ideas of what it could be to convince him to see a dr?

Would classify within a "movement disorder".  Could represent a compensated essential tremor, a forme-fruste of Tourette's, or even paroxysmal chores-athetosis, amongst some thoughts.  Unlikely to be a profound problem, but could be treated and controlled with contemporary medications.

Hi my 3 year old fell at school and hit his head on the floor. left nostril was bleeding. theres no bumps yet just bruising. nose stop bleeding. teacher said he was fine he is napping now though. should i take him to dr?

Just need to observe x 1-2 days. Emesis, head pain or swelling or a change in
alert status warrants an MD visit. Otherwise, rest, Tylenol for pain or fever,
and observe at home. Glad the nosebleed stopped quickly, common in kids in general.
