my endocrinologist told me i have 3 dominant nodules on the left & 2 on the right with cysts and several smaller nodules? what does dominant mean?

Bigger: Most likely they are larger and potentially more significant finding, i. E. That might need further attention, from observation to more diagnostic procedures - never hesitate to ask medical specialist questions.

i had two pelvic ultrasounds done and they show that i have a complex 3.1cm cyst with a thin septation on my left ovary along with a separate cyst which is 2.3cm. on the right ovary, there is a 1.8 cm dominant cyst. can you explain this a little more?

Ask your GYN MD: Without seeing the pelvic ultrasound, it is difficult to "explain this a little more". Your GYN MD who ordered the ultrasounds should be the person doing the explaining.

endometriosis suspected, us perfomed. left ovary measured 1.5x2.7 x3 cm with dominant follicle. 6 mo. later extreme pain on left.  could it be a cyst?

Possible : It is possible to have severe pain from an ovarian cyst. In addition there many other causes that can do this. A sonogram 6 months prior would not be very helpful in making the current diagnosis.

Solid nodule: Solid nodules on thyroid imaging need to be evaluated by your primary health care provider to see if further testing is indicated to make sure they are benign.

i recently had mri on my spine & it was discovered that i have a dominant lobulated mid left renal cyst measuring about 4cm. i have an appt scheduled with my primary dr next month to discuss it, but in the meantime, should i be worried?

Cystic kidney: Unfortunately you may lose the cystic part of the kidney, but through careful dissection you may not lose function of the kidney

Blood test: There are some tests the GYN can run for PCOS. Do confirm that and they can guide you for further care.

dx. from x-ray- bone cyst on dominant left hand -scaphoid and may have cracked. been in a brace for three weeks. i fell 12/9/22 & how long does it take for the wrist/thumb not to be achy? and should i get an mri if it continues?

: Scaphoid fractures are commonly caused by falling onto an outstretched hand. There is poor blood supply to the bone, and healing can take 6 weeks and beyond, requiring immobilization with a splint/cast. Repeat imaging can show whether healing is adequate. CT scans provide more 3-D information than plain films. An ortho or hand-specialist can determine prognosis after initial immobilization fails.

Infertility: The dermoid cysts are not very large and are probably not to blame.  You may need additional infertility evaluation.   A lower amh doesn't exclude the chance of pregnancy but it may make it more difficult.

Hard to say.: Lots of people have cysts and they never cause a lick of trouble.  Some do get infected and need treatment.  But, be sure you see a doc to be sure that that is the correct diagnosis and to monitor its size over time.
