most of my eyes are white, but when i pull my eyelid down its slightly yellow, it seems to always have had this tinge, im wondering, is it always a sign of liver damage?

No: If the entire white of your eye is yellow it may indicate jaundice which can be symptomatic of liver disease.  The eye socket has numerous projections of orbital fat which protects the eye from hitting the bone when you move your head rapidly.  This fat is yellowl.

Most likely normal: Some yellow tinge to eyes especially in areas covered by the lids can be normal.  Liver damage typically causes the entire white of the eye appear yellowish in color.  I would recommend seeing your regular doctor for some lab work just to be sure.

Yellow skin: Jaundice , is a sign of liver problems, get this checked.

i have a yellow tinge in the inner corners of my eyes and i don't think it is pingueculum becuase there is nothing raised. is it from liver damage?

Probably not liver: If you have enough liver problems to cause jaundiced eyes,your urine would turn Brown and stools would be clay colored. If you are concerned about the possibility, your physician could order simple blood tests to rule out jaundice and liver disease.

Jaundice: Liver problems could cause you to become jaundiced.  One of the signs of jaundice is yellowing of the white of your eye, not the colored part.

Maybe or not: May be normal for you. May be related to altered metabolism of hormones, like estrogen. Can be seen with liver disease, pregnancy, birth control pill use, other causes.  Any question-see your doc.

Not in any...: ...Significant way. If you get the same damage from 10 glasses of wine as from 9 shots of vodka, i don't call that a major protective effect.

No: Flavinoid antioxidants in red wine prevent heart disease. Recently, researchers have found that moderate  consumption of red wine with antioxidant resveratrol, prevalent in the skin of red grapes, may inhibits tumor development in some cancers. For women 4oz glass a day of red wine deemed beneficial. Obviously bing drinking is not healthy.

my husband drinks quite a bit of beer and has developed a red sort of rash on his nose and cheeks. is this a sign of liver damage?

Possibly: This is a common skin finding in patients with liver disease. There are certainly other causes of redness of the cheeks and nose. If your husband drinks alcohol regularly in excess you should encourage him to see a doctor to be evaluated.

Not A Problem: Strattera (atomoxetine) is not toxic to the liver over time and does not require monitoring of liver function tests. If you have impaired liver function then you should be aware of that because it will affect the way you tolerate/metabolize many medications including strattera (atomoxetine). This can be evaluated by your physician.
