Both: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that,  Generally leukemia has high white blood cell count, however, rarely it may present with low blood count.

my father in law recently passed away with leukaemia and lymphoma, and he had richters in the cell too. my question is, why did none of this ever show up in blood tests? it was only diagnosed from the bone marrow biopsy? is that usual?

: Depends on the symptoms and the tests done. Generally both the conditions can be diagnosed by blood tests and xrays It is unusual. Your doc should be able to explain it since he/she has all the info.

Probably not: And yes. CBC often normal in lymphoma and never normal in leukemia.

What symptoms?: Blood test may be normal in lymphoma. If you suspect either of thses disorders, it will require a detailed history, physical exaination and lab tests, including may be a biopsy. The issue is not suitable for this forum.

Blood smear and BM: Examination of blood smear, studies of markers on circulating cells, bone marrow examination by multiple modalties, including flow cytometry and molecular testing are the routine now.

Not common : And I would say non existant, you need to stop worrying and chasing such diagnosis, if you are anxious about it, see a psychiatrist, for own well being, wish you well

went to doc for bruise today she said it was nothing to worry about it came out of nowhere though she didnt do blood work though as i had a lot of blood tests done 6 weeks ago all were great could leukemia still be an issue no other symptoms ?

No: This is a minor issue and often occurs without any underlying issues.

my dr has done about 6 dif blood tests,  and the last was to test for leukemmia cuz my wbc  was 14000, found some anemia.  could it be leukemia?

Unlikely: I doubt that it's leukemia, since the WBC is not that high; however, an elevated WBC could mean that there is some inflammatory process going on; the anemia could be a result of this also;.
