If there is an underlying hormonal imbalance it needs to be corrected as it tends to persist.

However remember that laser hair removal can be permanent so be sure that you won't want to change your mind. There are many different types of lasers each effective at a specific thing.  Check to be sure that the laser is one that is fda  approved for hair removal. Laser works best with dark hairs.
