Yes, it does.: This pill is an oral contraceptive so it carries a risk for blood clotting. Like any contraceptive it would suppress the pituitary's LH production which in turn reduces the production of testosterone in the ovaries. Besides ethinylestradiol, as its progestin it contains cyproterone acetate which is an androgen receptor antagonist and has anti androgen effect desirable in a woman with hirsutism.
