Possibly: Back pain and cramping can be encountered if uti/infection ascends deep into the bladder, ureters or the kidneys. Uti's do not always do this and cramping/lower back pain can have many other causes, some less benign than a uti. If symptoms do not subside with antibiotic treatment, further evaluation by a doctor is indicated.

Fever : Fever , back pain. May be not leg pain. Talk to your doctor if symptoms persist.

Unlikely: Severe bacterial utis are commonly associated with dysuria (burning). You need to be seen by a urologist to further investigate the bleeding source from your lower urinary tract (i.e. Bladder or prostate origin). I would not wait. You can have any number of problems ranging from prostatitis to bladder cancer. Please seek attention as soon as possible.

"Damage" unlikely: It often takes time to feel 100% again after treatment of any type of infectious process including a UTI in a 27 year old.  Just stay the course with your medications, drink plenty of water, cranberry juice if that's your persuasion during this decade when it appears to be helpful, and remember, to wipe "Front to Back." If symptoms still persist within the next few days, call your doctor.

can uti cause hip/back pain?  took cefdinir for uti  all pain gone. no bacteria in urinalysis and no growth culture but took one dose macrobid two days prior.  0-2 rbc, 21-50 wbc, leuko erat +.  all else neg. have trapped stone and on warfarin.

UTI plus other?: It was a mistake to take nitrofurantoin (Macrobid) before the culture test. Probably you have a UTI, perhaps with false negative culture because of the antibiotic. But the UTI or stone isn't necessarily the cause of your pain. This situation is much too complex to expect conclusive help on this or any other online forum. Keep working witih your doctor(s). Good luck.

Not likely: While anything is possible, these are not common symptoms of UTI and other reasons for your concerns should be sought.

No but...: Since your bladder sits right in front of your uterus, a UTI could make you think you are having uterine pain. Treat the UTI and if the pain doesn't go away, see your obgyn.

Recommend seeing MD: All your symptoms could be related to stress, like you suggested, but it would still be wise to rule out other causes, especially if you haven't had any lab work lately.  It's always better to be safe than sorry.  Would be good to discuss different choices for contraception too in order to reduce risk of unplanned pregnancy.

Not likely: PID is not particularly common after a D and C unless gonorrhea, chlamydia were present at the time f surgery and were not treated. Schedule a follow up with your surgeon. Have your urine tested for urinary tract infection and they can do an exam to make sure all is well.
