Call your doctor: Likely he has samples of long-acting Insulin pens (levemir (insulin detemir) or lantus) that he can give her to take daily until new pump arrives.  He'll probably want to see her soon in any case to ensure new pump is programmed correctly.

UTi treatment: Treat the UTI with antibiotics which are selected based on culture results. The supplements used should be fine, but if high in sugar content, please check with your PCP. Continue to monitor closely, follow a diabetic diet and have good skin care. Avoid abrasions, dry skin and follow up with your provider.

having issues with indigestion and off smelling stools for a little over a month. had an h pylori blood test, lgg and lgm negative but lga positive with high neutrophils as well. what could that mean? also i am a type 1 diabetic?

Depends: It depends on which diabetes pills are taken.  Some Type 2 pills stimulate insulin or depend on your insulin, and a type 1 diabetic has no insulin, so the pill would do nothing.  Other pills make you more sensitive to insulin, or cause you to lose glucose in the urine.  These may lower glucose in a type 1 diabetic, but that person will still need insulin.  Talk to your doctor about this.
