Check the kidney: Foamy urine is most likely from protein in the urine, which is a sign of albuminuria, ( nephrotic sydrome ), a result of nephropathy or kidney disease from diabetes. Treatment with ace inhibitor can help reduce the quantity of protein leaking into the urine.
