Lots of options....: There are many treatments for uterine fibroids, depending on the symptoms they cause, location, age of the patient and desire for future fertility.  Someone with fibroids without symptoms rarely needs treatment. Options include hormone therapy, nsaids, hysterectomy, myomectomy, uterine artery embolization and MRI guided focused ultrasound.

i had an mri that showed a "intrauterine mass." i have pain in my legs, hips, and back. i feel dizzy, too. is this normal with a fibroid/ovarian cyst?

Not really: A fibroid or ovarian cyst should not really cause all of those symptoms...Get an eval and definitive diagnosis of the uterine mass.  Best wishes.

MF/placental factors: Maternal-fetal and placental etiologies can all cause fetal growth restriction. Severa fetal syndromes can lead to fgr (e.g. Down, patau, triploidy, edwards, noonan's, digeorge). Multifetal pregnancies are at increased risk for fgr; this can result in fetal demise, fetal brain injury, cerebral palsy or even normal outcomes in non-syndromic cases. Placental infarcts, hypertension, lupus: culprits.

i am 69.  having a scan as concern 7cm fibroid has grown. can vagifem pessaries tablets cause growth.i also get constant utis. is there a connection?

Not associated : The vagifem and pessary are a non issue with your fibroid. As long as you are not symptomatic you can watch the fibrous otherwise uterine artery embolization, myomectomy or hysterectomy may be necessary.  Hard to know about the UTI. Make sure you are having a culture to make sure you are have true infections.

Never heard that: U can get intraligamentous fibroids that can grow and cause pain, if u are having pain u should be getting evaluated for the fibroids and they may need to be removed or shrunk or u may need a hysterectomy.

: If you're referring to fibrocystic changes in the breasts, they may last until menopause when most regress. Birth control pills may reduce pain and tenderness. Wear proper fitting bras,drink less caffeine,avoid eating chocolate, take ibuprofen for pain,apply cold or warm compresses as needed. Your gynecologist may drain fluid out of tender cysts for relief. He/she can advise you further.

It depends: i would need much more information to help
like the size of the fibroids and the location and pregnancy history
but if it is causing you heavy bleeding and pain and possible anemia then treatment is recommended

Well?: The injection was likely Depo-Provera luprn which may shrink them up to 30-50% by creating a temporary menopause.  The davinci may do the job for the myomectomy.  I am a traditional laparoscopist.  This means we stand by the patient using a camera and instruments instead of the device.  Deeply embedded fibroids can be hard to remove without opening.  Generally the incisions are not big.  You'll be ok.

i'm a female aged 28 and i have a bleeding problem and back pain. i was advised to take a  nur isterate injection to help reduce the fibroids growth. since march i have been bleeding and taking meds to stop it but it comes back the following month?
