No: Neither rice nor milk causes phlegm.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.

i choked on rice of a pea what would happen if it gets in your lungs i feel fine i did not cough and would i bee coughing if i inhaled it anxious?

Choking and Inhaling: If it is in your lungs and you are breathing comfortably and not coughing it is not going to cause any trouble and the cilia that line the trachea will move it up into your throat. It doesn't sound like you have much to worry about.

Aspiration: It's likely that you got some stomach contents into your lungs.  This CAN lead to pneumonia, so if your symptoms worsen at all, you should definitely be seen by a doctor.  Get well soon!

sir,whenever i eat fast foods or rice items which is made of high fat oil, when i cough i feel oily or mucous collected in my throat ..why it happes??

Reflux...: Eating those foods can decrease pressure that keeps acid in the stomach and cause the acid to go up through your esophagus and to your throat area.  Mucus is made to protect you from the acid that goes up.  Also can cause you to feel 'lump' in your throat.  It is usually called GERD or reflux.  Change diet, and/or antacids like Prilosec can help.

i accidentally inhaled a singular rice into what i think was my windpipe. i didnt cough, gag, or feel like i was choking but i assume thats because a rice is so small and probably wont block the airway. does that mean the rice is stuck in my lung?

No: The rice may have been swallowed. Not likely to cause any problems. If you develop respiratory symptoms, please see your physician.

Not a good idea: Eating anything that is meant to be cooked raw increases chances of infection as if such agents were present they would not be killed without cooking. Rice absorbs fluid and if you eat too much raw rice you can get stomach discomfort as the rice expands in size when it is submitted to fluid contents of your intestinal area and fluid that you drink. Eating raw rice is a bad idea.

Not really: Any food can be contaminated with bacterial pathogens but commercially purchased rice is not likely to be any more dangerous than any other product.  Certainly, if taken directly from a rice paddy in countries in which human excrement is used as fertilizer, this may create a risk.

i'm fond of eating raw rice.. every one says that if we eat more raw rice the mensus will be improper..is it so and will it cause any problem ?

Not likely...: Raw rice is not dangerous and should not have any effect on your menstrual cycle.  Eating a large amount, may cause some abdominal pain or distention due to the large amount of water that rice can absorb.  Also, raw rice is a food that someone with PICA may crave - you may wish to see your physician to ensure that you are not anemic or deficient in any nutrients that are leading to your habit.

Cough: I would try taking an over-the-counter cough expectorant with a depressant you can ask the pharmacist for one and that should help
