No proof: There are no supplements that have been definitively shown to decrease aging.  However, eating healthy will allow for healthy and graceful aging. Fish oils found naturally in fish can be anti-inflammatory and that minimize damage to the body from excess free radicals..

: There is no contraindication but I do not think collagen supplement will benefit your hair and skin.

It may be ok: I'm not sure that oral collagen supplements will do anything and topical collagen is not absorbed.  No one is injecting collagen any more, as it has fallen out of favor.  Biotin is a good supplement for hair and nail health- 2.5mg daily (what you don't use you pee out). Your pcp should be able to assist with supplements or a personal trainer/nutritionist.

: The biotin will help a little, if there is a sufficiently high dosage, but oral collagen is useless for hair and nails.  Get your money back and buy pure biotin, a minimum of 5000 units/day.  If that is ineffective, see a dermatologist for a complete evaluation.

Thinning skin: Tincture of time will restore the thinning  of your skin.I doubt if collagen will help and may exacerbate your atopic dermatitis.

Effects are debatabl: There are few studies on the effect of collagen in easing conditions like osteoarthritis.Collagen creams do nothing exept waste of your money.Only treatment with some positive effect is collagen injections
oral collagen supplements are not regulated, so you do not know what you are getting.Most collagen oral are made from cow or chicken products and can be dangerous if you have food allergies.

Body odor?: You don't say the apparent source of the odor. Bad breath? Intestinal gas and feces? Body odor? Vaginal odor? All have different causes, and sometimes no cause can be identified.  If body, breath, etc see your doctor for a general health check-up. If vaginal, get checked for bacterial vaginosis and other genital infecstions.

For what: your question could be a bit more specific--for injections it can help for cosmetic purposes.  For taking it for arthritis or to support joints, there is no good data that it does anything.  Avoiding smoking will help project the collagen in your body.

None: Collagen is one of the complex materials that your body makes from the proteins in a normal diet. There is little value in consuming extra. Be aware that such supplements are not regulated by the FDA ( unless they kill someone) nor are their claims to be helpful to the human condition. Use them if you wish, but to me it is just another dietary protein source.
