i had epididmytis i took antibiotics and the pain was reduced but its been 4 months there is still swelling at the top of the testi it does not cause any pain etc just the swell and after pro long standing or sit i feel discomfort dr said its normal?

: You might have developed a small epidid. cyst. These are harmless but at times may cause some discomfort. Wear a sopprt underwear. Suggest see a Urologist for confirmation. Good luck

Insufficient info: Based on what u just wrote, it could be anything. Weight gain because of fluid retention? Is their renal involvement? Tissue swelling? What part of body --- u mean--- by ' tissue'?

Swelling: Either fungus are a secondary infection can cause swelling around the eyes however an antifungal will not help your secondary infection and the secondary infection needs an antibiotic. However the antibiotic will not work on the fungal infection so therefore you need to combination of an antibiotic and an antifungal

Possibly yes!: Very possibly your teeth are loose due to the degree of the abscess and/or the bone loss from the gum disease that is associated from the periodontal disease. The bacteria could have resistance to the antibiotics being used and so you may need to see a dentist who can use UV sedation who can treat you in comfort, but you need care ASAP. An infection like yours could be life threatening!

continuing painful swelling in lymphnode armpit. biopsy found nothing and antibiotics havnt done anything. the doctors here have pretty much given up. any idea what could cause the continued swelling? it dissappear and then comes back . i keep clean?

: You could watch and wait. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!

Neuropathy: If the outer three fingers are numb, that insinuates possible nerve injury to the ulnar nerve, either due to the infection directly or due to prolonged compression from swelling.  Healing is possible with nerve damage, but usually very slow.
