Syncope: Age - co morbidities? see your doctor.  vasovagal syncope can occur due to peripheral pooling of blood tachycardia &amp; drop in BP.  Arrhythmias, CAD, neurogenic causes are some.

Exercise induced: asthma is a possibility. Anxiety can cause tightness in the chest due to muscle spasms in the chest wall. You are also probably hyperventilating causing dizziness. Mitral valve prolapse also needs to be ruled out . It can cause chest discomfort and can be seen at your age. See your doctor. Hope this helps.

You need to see MD: Although you are young, your symptoms are very alarming and definitely not normal. I would suggest you follow up with your PCP very soon. BP med side effects: Some people are more responsive than others to certain blood pressure medications. It is possible to be getting 'too much' medication and have 'too low' of a treated blood pressure. Cough is side effect of Lisinopril too. Cough & low blood pressure could indicate a more serious problem: pneumonia or cancer. If you think you are having side effects or feeling back you should seek medical care.

does dizziness and shortness of breath mean i have heart disease? i am 57 and have been getting dizzy spells, shortness of breath when i climb stairs or walk for very long, and sometimes my heart feel like it is pounding or racing. i'm otherwise healthy.

No matter how deconditioning occurred, if someone is having problems climbing stairs that typically would not have been a challenge or caused pain, it might be time to see pcp/ physiatrist/pt provider for evaluation/exercise plan.
