Syncope: Age - co morbidities? see your doctor. vasovagal syncope can occur due to peripheral pooling of blood tachycardia & drop in BP. Arrhythmias, CAD, neurogenic causes are some.

Merits an evaluation: This merits an exam by ones doctor or a cardiologist to determine ones blood pressure sitting and standing, thyroid function, echocardiographic study of the heart and a 24 hour Holter study of ones rhythm. Blood tests, including some unusual ones, might be needed to properly diagnose the problem.
