Dizziness: Hello, after a bowel movement, the body squeezes which causes a temporary shift in  blood flow away from the brain. This is referred to as a valsalva maneuver. The dizziness should be short lived. If it persists, follow up with your doctor. Blood pressure checks, labs, and a careful examination may be needed.

Blood Flow diversion: Depends on exactly when before bowel movement. If it is just prior when you are bearing down to evacuate the rectal vault, then the valsalva maneuver cause redirection of blood flow from the brain to the viscera causing dizziness and in certain circumstances loss of consciousness.

Take your pulse: Sometimes bowel moveents trigger a vagal response with associated low blood pressure and pulse.  The duration of time that you experience these symptoms is much longer than would be typically expected even if this was the cause.  It might be best to be seen by your doctor since the cause may be something more unusual.

If your lower abdomen hurts, that could be your skin, muscles, bladder, uterus, or intestines. If the upper part of your abdomen hurts, it could be acid reflux, pancreatitis, or other problems. See a doctor for an assessment.

There is a condition: Called splenic flexure syndrome where by distenion of the left side of colon progress tot he level where the left colon make sharp turn . This place is called splenif flexure . When pressure build , it will push the diaphragm and then the heart . The signs and symptoms develop and then when the pressure decreases , symptoms resolve . Advise you to avoid gas forming food and try semitichone

This combination of: symptoms is consistent with an autonomic dysfunction. Perhaps POTS. You should see a health care provider for evaluation. I would suggest you see a cardiologist or electrophysiologist as many primary care doctors do not have experience with autonomic dysfunctions.

Fainting?: If you are fainting, you need to get checked right away to find out what is going on.  You need to be examined in person.  Call the doc who treated you or go to an ER now if you are dizzy or fainted today.  If not get checked by doc tomorrow or to an ER if your symptoms return.  Do not drive, until you are certain that the dizziness has been treated.

Vagal reaction: It sounds like you may be experiencing a vagal reaction with bowel movement. This is not an unnatural reaction but it may be exagerated in some individuals. It is not clear if you have any medical or mental health diagnosis but it is more common in females with anxiety disorder. You may benefit by consulting with your doctor for an anticholinergic such as scopolamine if symptoms worsen.

You need: to have this evaluated ASAP! Bright red blood can be a symptom of a number of conditions benign and more serious!!! Dizzyness may mean that the bleeding itself is becoming symptomatic. Get this checked out ER or WALK IN UNIT is appropriate!
