Do note that in eczema, allergens can sensitize a person through skin contact.

If there is trouble with itching, you can give occasional diphenhydramine(benedryl) if not improving or more persistent eczema, he should be seen by his doctor. The doctor can prescribe stronger steroid creams as well as be sure there is not also a skin infection.
