Any area with skin: Eczema is a chronic inflammation of the skin. It tends to come and go, and affect different areas. The areas behind the knee and the inside of the elbow, areas called flexion creases, tend to be more often affected than other areas on the body.

Does eczema spread from one part of the body to another?

Dr. Arthur Lavin answered

Yes and no: The rash of eczema does not cause more rash, but the underlying attack of the immune system to one's skin, that is the heart of eczema, can attack any part of the skin and so it crops up all over, anywhere, appearing to spread.

Can eczema move around your body if you scratch the infected area but then scratch a clean area? Would it transfer

NO: Eczema is not an infection. It is not contagious. It does not spread. It is not caused by touching. It is also not caused by food. Not curable but certainly treatable, it can be controlled by creams, sometimes pills. Best result from consultation with a dermatologist.
