Gluteus Med exer: Suggest you look into gluteus medius strengthening exercises.

These include:
Hip abduction
Side plank
Exercising with tubing

Unclear question: Do you mean heart rate at rest or while engaging in long distance running during pregnancy? Pregnancy per se would not make your heart rate go up. If you are no longer an active runner, your resting heart rate would go up some due to lack of conditioning, with or without pregnancy.
For the sake of your and your baby's health, you should be under the care of an obstetrician.

my resting hr was around 50bpm. i had a slight tight chest and went for a run. now my resting hr is about 70 for the last 3 weeks. has the run caused damage or will it go back down? i am a long distance runner.

Variable HR: I would recommend following your HR, but the range is normal for your age.
The chest tightness may represent a form of asthma, and I would recommend an evaluation. The evaluation may include PFTs.

Need cardiac eval: It sounds like you may be developing an arrhythmia or irregular heartbeat when your heart is stressed to a certain point. You need to see a cardiologist for appropriate evaluation.  Do not delay with this. Sometimes these abnormal heartbeats can be fatal. Best of luck with this. Dr R

Fracture: The most common injury causing these symptoms is a fracture of one or more of the bones in the fourth digit. In a long distance runner, this is a stress fracture and is not related to a specific injury but too much repeated stress. Back off running temporary. Let legs and feet rest for a few weeks without running. Then start running for short lengths based on amount of pain, and slowly build back.

muscle wasting after "diagnostic" epidural steroid injecton that turned out to be not diagnostic in 23 year old elite collegiate long distance runner?

Not related: The steroid can cause some changes, locally and systemically but not for long.  My guess is that the wasting is on going and would have happened with or w/o the injection.  I would recommend a visit to a neurologist.

i am a long distance runner. i had an early stress fracture a month ago and have switched to biking. the pain is gone now. is it safe to start running?

Depends: Usually, for most types of soft tissue wounds, heing is 90% complete by 6-8 weeks. For bony injuries, it's longer, on the order of 8-12 weeks. It depends on the location and severity if the stress fracture. Best to ask the doctor that made the diagnosis, or an orthopedic surgeon. Hope this helps!

hi, i am very active and do a lot op sport. recently i frequently get cramps in my upper legs to the extent that i am not able to run for a week after that. i am a long distance runner, i play soccer, touch rugby and cycle if this can help?

Hydration: Anyone as active as you is likely to be dehydrated chronically.  Low salt (hyponatremia), low potassium (hypokalemia), low magnesium, and dehydration can all contribute to cramping.

i am 24 year old female distance runner (5'5' 125lbs). best peak flow has been 350. is that normal?

No: That is on the low side fora 24 year old who is 5'5"you should visit the dr and get that checked out and you will run much easier! you migh need a long acting medication not just albuterol
