My resting hr was around 50bpm. i had a slight tight chest and went for a run. now my resting hr is about 70 for the last 3 weeks. has the run caused damage or will it go back down? i am a long distance runner.

Variable HR: I would recommend following your HR, but the range is normal for your age. The chest tightness may represent a form of asthma, and I would recommend an evaluation. The evaluation may include PFTs.
