i had a d&c done on friday last week due to having a missed miscarriage, i was prescribed lennon diclofenac 100mg suppositories, i want to know if i need to complete the use of all of them or if i could stop as i dont have inflammation or pain ?

I say stop: Stop the medication and let's focus on the miscarriage. If you have recurrent miscarriages, when you start actively trying to conceive, start one baby aspirin a day, DHEA 25 mg a day and low dose naltrexone up to the beginning of the 2nd trimester, but educate yourself. Google all of this and check with your doc who knows your history well.

No, it cannot: If it is given IV or as a rectal suppository cannot harm stomach. Drugs of this class only harm the stomach by direct contact with the stomach lining.

why do voltaren (diclofenac) suppositories cause severe burning in my rectum? is this normai? or maybe due to prolonged diarrhea? i have to take suppositories because i can't tolerate oral voltaren (diclofenac) due to ulcer.

Voltaren (diclofenac) suppositori: Suppositories can cause burning not just due to their contents (voltaren) but by causing mechanical irritation or aggravating existing hemorrhoids. Voltaren (diclofenac) would be less likely to cause burning although if you have intolerance of it, it may be related to that as well.

is it ok to give voltaren (diclofenac sodium) suppository in addition to tylenol if fever doesnt go down in a 5 year old. she cant take ibuprofen.

I would never: This medication is not approved for use in pediatric patients fr any reason. As such, the medication may be more risky than allowing the fever to run its course. Fever is a normal body response that allows increased circulation &amp; antibody response during illness. As long as the kid is well hydrated it is not a real threat.

Not my favorite: There is a moderate amount of GI risk. If you believe the studies suggesting increased cardiac risk from nsaids, diclofenac is shown to have one of the highest risks.
