Voltaren (diclofenac) suppositori: Suppositories can cause burning not just due to their contents (voltaren) but by causing mechanical irritation or aggravating existing hemorrhoids. Voltaren (diclofenac) would be less likely to cause burning although if you have intolerance of it, it may be related to that as well.

Either: Could be either, but there is also a systemic effect of voltaren (diclofenac). If taken, gastroprotection with Misoprostol is still necessary.

Yes: If there is an ulcer history you should not take voltaren (diclofenac) suppositories or any other NSAID in any form. Ask your doc for another analgesic.
