Look at options: Are you seeing a counselor? That will help. Deep breathing for a few minutes a few times a day will help. 
Acupuncture and homeoapthy can also hep alleviate the anxiety. Look at the book stillness speaks...It may also help you begin to develop techniques that help calm your anxiety...Also stop all dairy and gluten and consider magnesium and fish oil supplements.

Yes, not together: Generally when people have anxiety/panic disorder, they cannot sleep.  The diazepam may not be controlling your anxiety/panic disorder.  Contact your doctor for adequate managment.
Both nytol and diazepam have  have as side effect sleepiness. when taken together they effect can be additive and dangerous.

Are they helping?: It does appear that you are on a number of medications being used to treat your anxiety disorder, which you say is for GAD. Being on several medications is not necessarily unusual.  The concern with being on several medications is the potential for interactions and problematic side effects.  If the side effects outweigh the benefits, do inform your doctor. More optimal treatments may be available.

i suffer from ptsd, depression and anxiety. i am on 40mg fluoxetine daily. can i take a zopiclone 7.5 with diazepam 2.5?

Talk to your doctor : You CAN take this combination if prescribed by your doctor.  You may experience increased sedation. Avoid use of alcohol and don't drive if you feel drowsy.

i suffer depression anxiety trying to taper off diazepam 15mg for 3 years what is a safe reduce without withdraw?

Lower 1 mg pet month: Have your doctor provide valium in the 2 mg tablet form that you can break down to 1 mg. You can then use those to tape your valium down by 1 mg a month. This will be a barely perceptible to your central nervous system and will allow it time to recover. Take it slow and easy and in months you will be off valium. There's absolutely no need to rush and taking it faster than that is likely to  make you prone to withdrawal symptoms that could be quite comfortable. Best wishes.

See a doctor: Anxiety can be a very difficult thing to deal with and be problematic if it starts functioning with your daily activities.  Medications such as diazepam are only a short term solution.

Cognitive behavioral therapy and counseling are usually the most effective long term treatments.  Find a counselor or ask your doctor about the need to see one.

Am making the: Assumption that the chest tightness is related to anxiety ;/or panic. Diazepam is treating your symptoms. I don't know what meds you are on - but it would be good if you took something that can help to heal the underlying depression/ anxiety. Yes, the chest tightness is likely to resolve over time. Acupuncture has helped some of my patients who had this issue (auricular trauma protocol).

Discuss with doctor: There are many possibilities-- you may have bipolar disorder, low thyroid, taking antacids which reduce absorption of fluoxetine, may need bupropion added, may be drinking alcohol, may have other medical illnesses complicating the picture, may need  a higher dose of fluoxetine. 
Please meet with your prescribing Psychiatrist and discuss in detail.

Weight change: People with depression can have different appetite changes.I have seen those that have lost weight and others who gain weight.Some people who eat more when they are depressed use food as a coping mechanism to help them feel better.It is best to identify the problem early and get proper treatment.Hypothyroidism can also mimic depression and cause weight gain.A simple blood test can rule this out.
