See a doctor: Anxiety can be a very difficult thing to deal with and be problematic if it starts functioning with your daily activities. Medications such as diazepam are only a short term solution. Cognitive behavioral therapy and counseling are usually the most effective long term treatments. Find a counselor or ask your doctor about the need to see one.

Diagnosis first!: Aches and pains are physical complaints that need evaluation. While depression and anxiety could be your primary disease, yet it is the diagnosis of exclusion (when there is definitely nothing else going on) there are physical diseases that cause both pain and anxiety (thyroid disease, pheochromocytoma, carcinoid syndrome, for example) do not just suppress your anxiety with medications.

Confront All Issues!: Diazepam&propanolol=only single molecules promoted as treatment for symptoms; have nothing to do with health. Thoughts of something seriously wrong are real; yet commonly also a self-diversion of feeling understandings (along with conscious avoidance of details/solutions) of what the issues actually are. Find someone worthy your trust to help confront the internal driving issues; mental&physical.

ANXIETY: Antidepressants help but may not be enough, they do not teach you coping mechanisms. Psychotherapy with a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy can help your medications to work better.
