: Unfortunately, Suboxone is a controlled medication and requires an in person visit for refill or initial prescription. It cannot be refilled or prescribed by any Telemedicine Dr either on HealthTap or other platforms.

Not best option ...: Medication that is currently available to aid with weight loss is only slightly effective: one type works to suppress appetite using amphetamine-type drugs which can be habit forming &amp; need to be used very carefully. Another type inhibits fat absorption often causing GI side effects. Best method is tried and true: figure out needed calories per day, reduce by 300-500/day, exercise 45 min daily:)

Maybe, but eat less!: Your medicaid program has a formulary list of all drugs covered (may be online). Look up "appetite suppressants". A person must eat less in order to lose weight. Weight loss diets include natural foods that take time to chew but contain few calories. Examples include carrots, celery, and iceberg lettuce (without salad dressing). When shopping for fruits, buy ones no bigger than a tennis ball.

BostonMedical Center: The BMC runs a network of primary care practices around the city, and many of these have buprenorphine/naloxone (Suboxone and others) programs, complete with counseling and other services. They take insurance, and if no insurance will charge based on ability to pay.

Not really: Am sure there are many "waivered" physicians on Sermo who can legally prescribe buprenorphine for addiction treatment, but nobody should prescribe to a patient they have not personally seen and examined. www.samhsa.gov has a link to a site where physicians are listed by state and town, and I would recommend starting with that. No: If she is detoxing responsibly, it should be under the direction of a qualified professional. There should be no withdrawal symptoms. A stimulant medicine doesn't typically counteract the symptoms of withdrawal. And it would be unlikely that a potentially addictive medicine like Adderall would be prescribed to someone fighting addiction.
