Dehydration: Your child is likely dehydrated if he is urinating less.  If it's a lot less, you should have him seen either by his doctor or go to the emergency department because he might need some IV fluids.  If he's just urinating a little less, then you'll have to increase the fluids you're giving him.  Pedialyte is a good option as is water.

Dehydration?: There are no non-obvious signs of dehydration. You can tell if you are losing weight by weight loss of 1-2 lbs/day. Other than that, you cannot diagnose dehydration other than by a low blood pressure, dry ski or an elevated sodium and potassium level in the blood with an elevated BUN to creatinine ratio.

Depends: Stringy bright red blood is often seen attached to the outside of stool when a larger/harder or bulkier mass is passed. Blood dispersed within stool in not normal. Neither has anything to do with dehydration.

: I assume you meant vaginal bleeding. A change in vaginal pH can change the metallic smell of the iron in your blood and make it stronger. If you have no other symptoms then you can neglect it. Dehydration can make the urine smell stronger but not the menses. If the blood is just from an accidental cut then it is difficult to explain, may be your nose is more sensitive today than usual. Take care.

Other signs are sunken soft spot in infants, and decreased or absent tears, dry mucous membranes.
