i had a deep pimple on my chin and i knew not to pop it but i felt as though i needed to relieve pressure. now there's a large bruise under my chin?

Hands down: I agree, you should not have manipulated the pimple.  Next time, if the pimple is sore, try applying a warm cloth to the surface of the skin gently. A topical acne preparation like benzoyl peroxide would be helpful. The bruise will resolve in about a week. Bruises arise from the rupture of blood vessels beneath the skin. Prompt pressure and ice can minimize bruising just as they begin to form.

Be careful: Would see a doctor -a surgeon or dermatologist depending on the size of the "pimple". Popping it on your own under non-sterile conditions could potentially lead to an infection.

Sounds like a boil: You need to get in to a physician's office or urgent care for what sounds like an abcess or boil.  These are treated with antibiotics & sometimes with incision and drainage.

A lump like this`: really needs to be felt by your PCP (Primary Care Provider) however it sounds like an old inflammed LYMPH NODE (gland) from an old infection! The LOCATION as well as the SIZE and CONSISTANCY are used to determine if it needs to be removed!

Cratered acne: Ice-pick scars from acne require deep skin treatment as provided by a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Laser treatment may help. There are no topical creams or ablatives that will help.

Not sure...: ...what it is, but I AM sure it's NOT at the top of your spinal cord. If you could feel that, you'd have some serious problems. Unfortunately, it's impossible to understand what you're trying to describe.

Warm compresses: This will help some.  Keep the area clean.  If you run a fever or it seems to be spreading, get with your physician.

Cyst vs abscess: Small whiteheads are generally different from pimples. Whereas pimples tend to be inflammatory active lesions filled with white cells, white heads tend to be quiescent cysts filled with dead skin cells that may remain stable or rise to the surface and rupture. Popping a big pimple could create a big scar.

Skin lesion in head: Skin disorders need to be seen. What you describe as "pimples" may be many things. Common lesions in the scalp could be impetigo or piodermititis, fungal, but even herpes zoster or herpes simplex, psoriasis, lupus, skin cancer, scabies etc. Show it to a dr. Or dermatologist.
