Get iv contrast CT: There are many reasons to have a liver mass, more often than not, they are benign, but clearly depending on past medical history,  It is difficult without contrast to differentiate these lesions, there are various ways to give intravenous contrast.  A hemangioma protocol is also known as a triphasic study, allows one to look at three phases of liver perfusion but more complex to do.

Liver mass: It means there are 2 spots in your liver that have a high blood flow and could possibly be abnormal. They can not tell exactly what they are by ultrasound. You need an MRI which will give much greater detail. You should see your primary care doctor to help arrange this. But it means there might be a problem in your liver and you need follow up tests- don't ignore this.

: They cannot tell what it is on US.  Could be anigomylipoma a tumor of fat and blood vessels. And to give better idea of what it is the USDr recommended CT to learn more.   Discuss with your Drs there who know you.

Protocol?: Are you asking how often it is dosed?  It is usually prescribed 2-3 times per day on a regular (not as needed) schedule.

But to get benefit as demonstrated in studies, you have to push yourself until ready to pass out or puke. Obviously you'll need to build up to that.

Protocols by ahqr provide studies to streamline therapy for a specific disease in a large population. The latter may be used to justify or deny treatments which are expensive.
