You have to see you dentist for a tooth by tooth evaluation. Don&#x27;t take any chances.

Need research...: I have not come across any professional articles that relate to your question, but yours is a good hypothesis to challenge. While milk may dilute the color but the same amount of particles; it also creates thicker film on teeth. Casein, a protein in milk, binds well to tooth structure. If you want to find a way to enjoy your tea without much staining, follow with water and brush soon after, too.

You should be seeing your hygienist regularly, so next time you get your teeth cleaned, ask how your hygienist can remove it, and how to keep it from recurring. Some stains are more than superficial, and need dental treatment. Your dentist can find the best way for you.
