Oral surgeon: An oral surgeon can excise or enucleate your cyst. This is not a diy project, no more than an extraction, tonsillectomy, or appendectomy. Call an oral surgeon for an appointment.

i have a cyst under my tongue. the ent specialist inserted a needle but it was not watery & felt it was a lump that needs surgery. is this a concern?

Lots of possibilitie: There are lots of possible diagnoses.
These can be benign cysts from the spit glands in your mouth. Less common would be a benign or malignant tumor of the mouth or spit tissues. Even in cases of cysts, we typically recommend removal as they can grow and get infected. If the specialist recommends removal, i would go with that.

when press under my jaw by my saliva gland a vessel in my mouth get hard by my wisdom tooth.i feel like something is under my tongue and 2 hard what feel like cyst that swells and go away also in th general area.can this be a cancer? its been 6 mon?

Probably Mucocoel: Could be a mucous retention cyst ( mucocoel) or possible a small benign tumor. Easily treated. I"d see an oral surgeon asap.

i have a cyst just removed from my tongue tuesday, and stitches are bothering me. what can i do?

It is very uncomfort: The stich is most likely absorbable and will dissolve with in the next couple of days . You might try local anesthesia like lidocain oral preparation of  pills that help with the pain. It would be very important to contact the surgeon if it is bothering you significantly . Speedy recovery !

what to do if i had a ranula (tongue cyst) surgically removed last week (pics). now 5 more are back! do i have a disease?

No!: No, there are a couple of possibilities.  Sometimes when a ranula or cyst is removed, an adjacent salivary gland duct is traumatized and obstructed by the surgery in the adjacent area.  In that case, it may not drain properly;  the gland produces saliva and you will form a new cyst in the location of the previous surgery.  It is unpredictable and hard to avoid, but is a possibility .

Consult the surgeon.: You should check with the surgeon who removed the cyst  or another ENT or oral surgeon, who can  surgically treat the scar tissue if necessary.
