It is very uncomfort: The stich is most likely absorbable and will dissolve with in the next couple of days . You might try local anesthesia like lidocain oral preparation of pills that help with the pain. It would be very important to contact the surgeon if it is bothering you significantly . Speedy recovery !

Normal: It is typical for stitches to be uncomfortable and the area heals. They will dissolve and come out by themselves in a few more days. Do not pull on them. This can make things worse. Rinse with warm salt water.. Follow the post op indtructions give by the surgeon. If there is severe pain, bad taste swelling then you should call the surgeon.
